These were delivered to us in a couple of days. Fantastic service. Did a bit of research before purchasing. You can buy cheaper but then you get what you pay for. Some of the cheaper ones are a blend which was not suitable for us. Supporting local as well which is great. This was a far cheaper way to seed a huge amount of area. Perfect timing for us to do this and we look forward to a beautiful looking lawn in a few months.

A query if I may, you mention planting the seeds in rows, north/south then east/west, what size spacing for the rows and do you mean trickling the seed just in a line or broadcasting it? Trust this makes sense. Cheers. Miles

So yes, it looks like we have success. Seedlings are sprouting and started around 9 days after spreading. Must add, we went against landscapers advice, dug out 100mm of crap top soil and rubble instead of 50mm, replaced it with landscape mix to Greenacres standard, added additional sprinklers based on cup test, and then spread seed with Scotts lawn starter fertiliser and BINGO it is working. The landscape yards said it was sooo hard to grow lawn from seed. Yeh right, not if you do your research first by the looks of things. Give McKays seeds a go, they definitely grow in the right conditions. Thanks McKays.
